This afternoon, the owners and the players agreed to a seven-day extension of their talks toward a new collective bargaining agreement. The will resume negotiations on Monday. Their talks continue to be supervised by federal mediator George Cohen.
According to ESPN, the new CBA expiration date is next Friday.
