For How Many Weeks Can I Get Unemployment in Pennsylvania?

In the past (pre-recession), the answer to this question was 26 weeks.  However, two federal programs enacted during the economic crisis increased the maximum duration in all states to 99 weeks.

If you have heard discussion of "the 99ers," that term refers to people who have exhausted their 99 weeks of benefits, but remain unemployed.

Someday, the federal programs will expire (I am not sure when), and the maximum duration for benefits will go back to 26 weeks (unless the Pennsylvania legislature decides to increase that number).
